It’s beautiful. Lush green grounds, friendly staff. Resort pool and restaurant. We had the private pool with our suite. Do it!! You will not regret it for a moment. We were in unit 307. The air conditioning worked great. Only comment is when it rained hard, there was a bit of a sulphur smell and then the mosquitoes came out a bit (bring bug spray in case). But none of that would deter me from choosing that guy simply because it was so private. No one needed to walk in front of our place. The water is purified and safe at the resort (it was at the time of my writing this) and they do give you one bottle of water at the start of your stay. The town is a 5 min walk down the beach and is worth going in. The grocery store is massive! So much stuff! And a load of bread there is cheap! The fridge is more like a cooler, so they say don’t keep food in it because it won’t be safe. We grabbed a plastic baggie and filled it with ice to keep the fridge cold enough to keep some small bits of food safe. But it is definitely not a fridge. When you go to your room, you put your key in a slot which gets the power fired up. So when you are away (unless you get two keys), the air conditioned stops as does the fridge. Good news. The air conditioner cools the place reasonably quickly The resort restaurant is okay. The Cajun rub chicken with fries is yummy. The beef tenderloin is good as is the veal. We did not do breakfast but our friends called it mediocre. However the chocolate croissants were delicious! Be aware that there are specific meal times. Can’t remember specifically but it goes something like breakfast from 6:30-9:30. Lunch from 11:45-2 and dinner from 6:45-9:30. Outside of that. No food. The beach out front of the restaurant is lovely with some decent snorkelling. The staff were very friendly and always smiling. Make sure you greet them with a “yor-Anna” (not how it’s spelled! Lol). And always say thank you “ma-roo-roo” (again… not how it’s spelled. ) A great spot.

Such a beautiful location with bungalows on the lake edge. The resort was well spaced so was quiet and peaceful . The small beach and pool were great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My partner is coeliac and needed gluten free meals which the staff were very thoughtful about supplying. Meals were excellent with plenty of variety. I would definitely stay here again if we get the chance to return to Huahine

The location is great - close to town. The gardens were stunning. Food was great at the restaurant, especially the desserts! The beach and pool were delightful. Lake bungalows are spacious and well laid out. The archaeological sites and museum make this property quite unique. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful!

Breakfast was excellent. Good choice nicely presented. Location fantastic. Very relaxed atmosphere.Staff very friendly and helpful. Very sustainable - care about their enviroment. Easy walk to the village. Beautiful island please look after it and don't let anyone spoil it!

this resort is a step back in time- when the pace was leisurely and people cared about each other! There is something magical about the stay. don't expect 5 star polish and ameneties, but do expect a generous ecclectic resort.
